Don Vaught is the President of Vaught, Spangler & Associates Financial Services. Immediately after graduating from Greensboro College with a degree in Business & Economics, Don was asked to manage a branch of a North Carolina savings & loan. Don has navigated the financial industry for more than 30 years, building experience at companies such as NCNB (now Bank of America), Lincoln Financial, and Edward Jones. Don’s experience includes banking, regional sales, national sales, marketing, and now as a business owner.
As a Financial Advisor for LPL, Don works with people of all ages and has gained understanding of the issues people face through the different stages of their lives. His clients have the freedom to choose from the many types of investments available to them, or they may ask for recommendations Don finds what would be in their best interest following the fiduciary standard. Don believes his role with his clients is to be a teacher and a coach while bringing his own financial experience to the table to help clients make an educated decision for their financial situation.
Don loves the Midlothian community, and works with organizations like the Brandermill Rotary Club, the Boy Scouts of America, the Midlothian YMCA Board, and Woodlake United Methodist Church. When time allows, Don enjoys spending his time kayaking and participating in charity golf tournaments. Don met his wife Jane at Greensboro College; they have been married for 48 years, and together they have one son, Andrew.
