Eli is a partner and financial advisor and has been with Vaught, Spangler & Associates for 10 years. Eli grew up in Littleton, Colorado with his parents and his brother Cody. He began his education at the University of Colorado in 2009, then moved to Virginia in 2012 where he continued at Longwood University. Eli joined the business in 2012 in a support role before eventually becoming licensed in 2019; now he holds Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses through LPL, and maintains insurance licenses for Life/Health/Annuity and Long-Term Care.
Eli likes to help clients by taking the complexity off their shoulders so they can “zoom-out” and focus on the bigger picture. He loves when a client’s eyes light up as they learn new ways to think about their family’s financial future. He takes the lead on investment research and investment portfolio construction, but all final investment decisions are always up to the client.
Eli lives in Chesterfield with his wife Emily and their rescue dogs Charlie and Moose. In his free time, he enjoys camping, canoeing, fantasy football, and visiting with his family in Roanoke and Lynchburg. He travels back west as often as he can, and his favorite place in the world is Yellowstone National Park.
